Billy Friebele is an Assistant Professor of Fine Arts at Loyola University of Maryland and an artist working in across disciplines. His work explores expanded notions of drawing using kinetic sculpture, digital tools, and drawing machines. He received a MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. Billy has exhibited at the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Katzen Arts Center at American University, and the Orlando Museum of Art among other national and international venues. A recipient of the two-year Hamiltonian Fellowship for emerging artists, Billy is also a Maker-in-Residence at the MLK Jr. Library in Washington, DC.
