COVID-19 RELATED MARKET CHANGES:

We are a market with a mission to provide affordable access to fresh produce. build community, and support local business.  Due to the COVID-19 virus, we will open with modified hours and operation:

  • Vendors will be food only. There will be limited vendors, but market selections will still include fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, cold crabs and seafood, baked goods, and hot Mexican food including tacos and burritos for a delicious weeknight dinner!

  • Direct vendor to customer transactions will be suspended to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.  All transactions will take place at central payment system.   All forms of payment including credit, debit, SNAP/EBT, Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program coupons, e-WIC and cash will be accepted on market day.  The market will continue to provide matching funds for SNAP/EBT customers towards the purchase of fresh produce and whole foods in order to ensure healthy food remains affordable in our community.

  • Walk up customers on Wednesdays at market will be required to wear a mask while lining up 6ft apart outside the Notre Dame Lane entrance at 5104 York Road. Vendors will display their goods on tables and list items on chalkboards for customers to view while waiting in line.  Personal shoppers will fulfill orders on behalf of customers in order to ensure customers are safely and quickly served.  View market map here

  • To skip the wait, customers can place pre-orders for drive-through pick up on market day.  The pre-order system will go live on the farmers market website each week from Friday to Monday or until all slots are filled. View pre-order policies and procedures here.  Availability of items will change on a weekly basis.

Although it may not be ‘business as usual’ all the changes to the market are for the safety of our customers and vendors.  Customers can take pride in the fact they are supporting all locally-owned and operated small businesses from our state, our city, and even our own neighborhood. Thank you for your cooperation, support, and understanding during this time.
