Dr. Hurter Brizee has a masters in digital humanities and a doctorate in American history. For her doctorate, she specialized in the development of democracy in the early Republic.

She is the Director of Planned Giving at Loyola University Maryland. She also volunteers with service learning classes and in projects like The Baltimore Story that intersect with her passions of history and community engagement and activism.

Dr. Hurter Brizee is the web designer and historical consultant for The Baltimore Story.
